An early Friday morning walk through the woods? You bet. Heck. . .I’d likely be doing that myself anyway. Add a couple of rocking nice people into the mix while giving me the opportunity to catalog them along a river and this microcosm of a world has itself a happy photographer. It’s got itself a very happy guy.

The exceptional thing is that this morning get together is a far more accurate depiction of them as their normal. It’s unfiltered. It’s regular kind of clothes doing, for these two, a very normal thing which is a short morning walk through the woods. I think that a lot of people don’t consider engagements or they get into them for the wrong reason — it’s tough not too. Newly engaged couples get ears full of the “save the date” shit, a wedding website, social media feed and digital files so that their life of today can die on the fickleness of a screen tomorrow. . . a place that future generations will never see. It’s tough to see past that for most of us. We were among those people at one time.

I don’t know, though. We’re human & we like shiny things.

Filter your eyes through the trees and have a look on Taylor & Brian. Be your normal. Do your normal.
